DEL inspiron 8100 The boot takes +45 min and computer seems to run every 8 sec cycle cannot get to safe mode? - noise every 15 min
256 MB RAM, CPU 1.2 GMT.
The mouse moves each cycle of 8 sec.
Fan password from time to time.
Hard disk can make noise about 8 seconds.
Clock moves 1 minute every 15 minutes real time.

It is time that we are a long time. Windows can be screwed. Repair or reinstall.
I did have a Pentium 3 550 MHz with 3x128Mb RAM. Start Windows XP in less than a minute.
